The Village Gala on Saturday 7th July 2007

The Oakworth Gala this year was a great success and took place on Saturday July 7th 2007 - The procession started forming up in Windsor Road at 1.00 pm and the procession began at 2.00 pm. We had good weather with the sun showing itself for what seemed like the first time in ages!
The Gala itself was in the playground at Oakworth Primary School and it was packed out.
Thank you to everyone who attended on the day.
We got lucky with the weather and had a successful procession and gala, with the school playground being absolutely packed.
We'd like to take this opportunity to thank the Headmaster Adrian Francis, the Staff and Governors of Oakworth Primary School for allowing us to use their facilities at such short notice.

Pictures of this event will be posted on this page hopefully in a couple of weeks. I'm sorry I can't do it before as I'm shortly moving house and our internet connection is about to go offline soon.
