Slack Lane Baptist Church is situated close to the village of Oakworth and hamlet of Newsholme, near Keighley, West Yorkshire.
The church was founded in 1819 and the building has been in continuous use as a nonconformist place of worship and Sunday school since that date.
The building has been adapted over the years to meet the changing of the congregation and is currently undergoing a fresh upgrade. Worship follows established traditional Baptist practices but steps are being taken to manage change and introduce a more participative approach.
