Contributions to Care Review

There will be a consultation meeting at Central Hall,

Alice Street, Keighley Monday 6^th February

10.30 am to 12 noon

BMDC Adult services are reviewing the way that people contribute financially for day and home care services.

Which services will be affected?

-Home care

-Day care

-Direct payments or individual accounts

-Sitting services

The Council offers some services for no charge at present. It is proposed that they charge for these services in the future.

These include:

-Day-care centre meals

-Transport to and from Day-care centres

The review will consider whether people who use these services should be asked to contribute more towards them. Your attendance and input to this consultation is very welcome.
