Oakworth Forward is a partnership set up to bid for financial resources, support local groups, inspire creativity and link village activities and issues to the local political framework
The object(s) of Oakworth Forward is to
- Provide a focus for joint operational responses to emerging issues identified in the area of benefit.
- Provide an accountable body for the acquisition and deployment of human, material and financial resources within the area of benefit.
- Support the development of new and existing groups and organisations within the area of benefit.
- Create a forum for the development of new ideas and creative forward thinking.
- Expand the range of opportunities for involvement in community engagement activities within the area of benefit to support the development of local and area action plans.
