Rainbows
There are two Rainbows groups in Oakworth.
1st Oakworth meets on a Wednesday evening. Contact Mrs J. Armstrong on 01535 642625.
2nd Oakworth meets on a Monday evening. Contact Mrs L. Stow on 01535 662998.
Rainbows meet each week during term-time.
Any girl aged 5 or over up to 7 years can be a Rainbow.
Rainbows have fun!-they take part in indoor and outdoor activities,the latter providing challenging opportunities
for girls to think for themselves in a girl only space.
The programme helps girls to develop through looking,laughing,loving and learning.
The girls make a simple Promise:-
I promise that I will do my best to love my God and to be kind and helpful.
The meetings last for one hour and the girls pay £1-50p each week. Leaders and Helpers are all volunteers
and mostly members of Girlguiding U.K.
