Our Halloween party evenings in the park in 2004, 2005 and 2006 were a resounding success, with much fun had by all.

Thanks very much to everyone who supported these events with their voluntary donations and all of those who came along for the fun.

The 2008 Halloween Party

We are pleased to announce that our very popular Halloween event will take place this year!

We did not run the event last year because we simply did not have enough staff to run it safely. But this year we will hold the event with your help.
We need at least 15 people to help with the following:

• Cleaning up litter, broken bottles etc in the park on the day.

• Putting up the decorations during the afternoon (and guarding the decorations and lights from certain 'elements' who would cause damage, or steal them).

• Stewarding of the event during the evening.

• Taking down all the lights and decorations before the end of the evening.

We have had up to 1000 people attending in previous years and of course most of these were small children, without sufficient adult supervision we cannot safely hold the event.
