Memorial Service |
We will be remembering the six men who died on January 2nd 1944 when their Wellington bomber crashed into the hillside on a foggy evening. Please wrap up well for this event and wear boots as it's often a bit muddy on the lane. Wreaths will be laid and prayers said for the men who died. It's quite easy to park in the lane opposite the Grouse Inn and walk along the lane to the memorial site. The walk to the site takes less than ten minutes. |
