Allan is buried in France (see below), but is remembered on a family grave in Slack Lane Baptist burial ground on Mackinstone Lane.
The memorial inscription reads:
Allan, son of the above who died in action August 19th 1917 in his 21st year


Allan is remembered on a family grave in the cemetery opposite the Slack Lane Baptist Church on Mackinstone Lane, off Slaymaker Lane, Oakworth.
