SUPPLEMENT TO THE LONDON GAZETTE, 10 APRIL, 1918.
His Majesty the KING has been graciously pleased to approve of the award of the Military
Medal for bravery in the Field to the undermentioned Non-commissioned Officers and
Men: —
265267 L./C. G. Page, W. Rid. R. (Keighley).
Sadly, he was killed in action
one month later on April 12th 1918, just two days after the London gazette
citation was issued.
George is mentioned on the Bogthorn Methodist Chapel Sunday School lists
of Oakworth men who served in WW1
