Village News: Halloween Party in the Park

The Friends of Holden Park you invite to come along to a magical wonderland of Halloween in Holden Park on Saturday 29^th October, starting at 4.30pm.

You never know who you might meet around the next corner - it could be a ghost, a witch, a skeleton or even old father time himself. Wander through the park with its many twists and turns and the caves; see it transformed into a glittering world with lights and scary displays. Why not stop and buy a snack – there will be burgers, hot dogs and pancakes and maybe even some toffee apples, take a dip in the bran tub or maybe have a go at apple bobbing. It’s all for fun, admission is by a donation of 50p per person to enable us to continue putting on these events in the park.

Anyone with a little time to spare in the afternoon or evening is invited to come along and help to create this wonderland or clear it all away at the end of the day

And finally, don’t forget to bring a torch with you
