Neighbourhood Forums: Oakworth Village Forum
Dear Resident,
You are invited to your local village forum meeting which will take place on
Wednesday 18th July 2012
7 PM
Holden Hall Oakworth
This is an opportunity for residents to collectively discuss local issues of concern, areas for development and any ideas for future action.
Local Councillors and representatives from West Yorkshire Police will be available to help and support residents with any problems, including an opportunity to influence Police and Council priorities.
It is also an opportunity for local residents and community organisations to showcase activities they are involved in.
I would particularly encourage you to ask your friends and neighbours who live in the area to take this opportunity to come along and share their views.

Oakworth Forward: Confidence in the Voluntary & Community Sector
Involve Yorkshire & Humber has launched a new survey to gauge the confidence of the voluntary and community sector (VCS). The confidence survey is an invaluable tool to find out what is really happening in the sector. We use it to brief politicians, key agencies and the media. The survey is now in it's 11th successive quarter and is an invaluable tool for assessing how the voluntary sector is faring in difficult times.
Please complete the survey for April to June 2012 - it will take just a few minutes, and please pass it on to any colleagues and networks who you think would be happy to contribute. The deadline for the survey is Wednesday 25th July.
Complete the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/S58NDML
This is the 11th successive quarter we have run the survey, allowing us to show and analyse trends, as well as present an immediate snapshot. A report summarising the survey findings will be available in mid August.
