Remembrance
Every year on the second Sunday in November our nation remembers its war dead. We have done this since the end of the First World War in 1918. Oakworth joins in with this at our own cenotaph in Holden Park @ 10:45 am (this year it falls on the 13th). The Village Society leads a Ceremony of Remembrance of the human cost for the forty one men of WW1 and the eleven men of WW2 from Oakworth who died in defence of our nation.
