Work parties

 

We'd love for you to come along and help us tidy up in the park. If you do, we recommend that you wear suitable clothing such as walking boots or Wellingtons, along with clothes suitable for dragging brambles out or clearing paths, heavy duty gardening gloves and warm head gear in the winter months.

Sunday 6th Feb 2005 Litter picks done around the grottos on Saturday and Sunday, we also cleared out a rubbish filled part of one of the side caves, to use as a tool store. Here
Saturday 5th Mar 2005 Clearing work carried out in the park, litter picking and ivy clearance from the grotto features.  
Sunday 3rd Apr 2005 Clearing work carried out in the park, Sir Isaac Holden drinking fountain cleaned and graffitti removed. Here
Saturday 7th May 2005 Clearing work carried out in the park and woods, Four heavy timber seats fitted to the stone pillars in the woods. Here
