1916: Birth on 1st October at Fisher Branch, Manitoba. Baptised at the Immaculate Conception’s Curch at Festier Branch, Manitoba, as ‘Joseph Henry Emeric Savage’ on 3rd December. 1933: He received a .22 Gun Shot Wound in the right chest. He spent 4 weeks in hospital and was discharged and returned to school a month later.

From R.A.F. Bournemouth to No. 18 O.T.U. on 26th October. From 18 O.T.U. to 82 O.T.U. on 27th October.

1944: Whilst serving at 82 O.T.U., he was killed as crew of Wellington Bomber BK387, on a training flight which crashed at Tewitt Hall Wood, Oakworth Yorkshire, on 2nd January, killing all those aboard. Buried at Harrogate (Stonewall) Cemetery on 8th January. He was 27 years of age.
